A warm welcome back to you all!
This term, in addition to many interesting and inspiring activities, we have also made some exciting new changes to the Club.
Firstly, we've changed our name from Kingston Explorers to Surrey Explorers which now better reflects the wide area that our members come from. Check out our new web address www.surreyexplorers.org.uk where you'll still find photos of past events, map of our venues and other interesting links.
We're starting a mini library service, for parents, of books and articles relating to giftedness. Any book donations are welcome.
Recently we've had younger siblings attend the Club too, so we'll now cater for them with appropriate toys, games and puzzles in a separate room while the main activity is running. We hope this will encourage you to bring your whole family along.
Finally, we're changing the way we collect subs money. We would prefer you to pay termly - it's cheaper too. SPECIAL OFFER! Return your subscription form before the 15th September and you'll still pay the old rate of £3 per child at each event. This term only. Complete & return the subscription form enclosed. Paying in advance will generate vital funds needed to book professional experts plus we may be able to claim Gift Aid too - an extra 28%. You can still Pay On the Day - £5. And any family facing financial hardship should please contact me.
We hope that all these changes will encourage families to attend more often and help forge real friendships!
